(காதலின் பிரிவால் ஆகிய துன்பத்தைப்) பொறுக்காத என் உடம்பும் உயிரும், நாணத்தை நீக்கி நிறுத்தி விட்டு மடலூரத் துணிந்தன.

காதலை நிறைவேற்ற முடியாது வருந்தும் இந்த உடலும் உயிரும் வெட்கத்தை விட்டுவிட்டு மடல் ஏற எண்ணுகின்றன.

எனது உயிரும், உடலும் காதலியின் பிரிவைத் தாங்க முடியாமல் தவிப்பதால், நாணத்தைப் புறந்தள்ளிவிட்டு மடலூர்வதற்குத் துணிந்து விட்டேன்
